HOCKEY MATCH FORMS
Introduction:
Hockey Match is a kind of sports activity, where the selected players are expected to play the game, according to the convention and policy of the Hockey Sport organization. It is a well-known sport all over the world.
Types of Hockey Matches:
There are different kinds of Hockey matches such Field hockey, Ice hockey, Street hockey and Unicycle hockey.
- Field Hockey: Usually, it is played on natural grass, water based or sand based lawn made artificially with a hard small ball. The game is more popular among both females and males in many nations around the world, especially in India, Europe, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand and South Asia. In USA and Canada, the Field Hockey is played mainly by women.
- Ice hockey: It is played usually on a wide flat region of ice, by using an inch of three diameters nearly 76.2 mm vulcanized rubber disk known as puck. It is frequently frozen, prior the games of high-level to reduce the amount of friction and bouncing on ice. The game is popular all over Europe, North America and also, in many nations around worldwide.
- Street Hockey: It is also called as Road Hockey. Usually, it is play of no protective equipment, so the strong physical contact is not common.
- Unicycle Hockey: Here every player is mounted up on their own unicycle to play at ball.
